Powerful Film

Helen Mirren gave, as always, an award worthy performance as Golda Meir! She looked and sounded just like her, it was amazing. I certainly hope she wins an Oscar for this, she's truly deserving.

This is a very powerful movie and it kept me on edge from beginning to end. I can't even imagine how Golda was able to handle such an unimaginable burden for her country, along with receiving treatments for lymphoma! It was captured perfectly on film by Helen Mirren.

All the actors did phenomenal jobs portraying their respective characters which included Moshe Dayan and Henry Kissinger, although as good as Liev Schreiber was, he was maybe a little too tall for the role of Kissinger 😀

I highly recommend this movie, especially to anyone who likes historical films.
