Oh man was this great!

I hope more people watch this, it was great! The twists, the graphic story telling, the artistic shots, it all carries on the tradition of French films being something special.

I can't believe the lack of hype or attention this limited series is getting.

I liked how they turned what seems to be an implausible story into one that is plausible. And I don't know if one aspect of the flashback timeline will throw some viewers off...... MINOR SPOILER I'm referring to the specific thing that prodded old Albert to decide to chronicle his life with Solange).

I also loved it! What is your opinion on Adrien going to jail? Do you think he'll tell the police he killed Albert? Do you think he'll be charged with Carrel's murder, even though he's innocent of it? The only thing I'm positive about is that he revises his story to reflect that Albert was not the actual murderer, that it was Solange all along and that he sent it to his publisher. I do think Solange is going to jail for the rest of her life. I wish there was a little more closure on Adrien.

Oh man I don't know! I am kind of on the fence about all of the loose ends because it's more intriguing to NOT have those answers but I definitely WANT them! I don't think he'll tell the police he killed Albert because they would make him even more of a suspect with Carrel's murder. maybe that's just what "I" would do though. As frustrating as it is to be left with the questions, I think knowing the answer to them would take away from the film.

I hope he doesn't say anything about Albert. He thought he was killing his mass murderer father and he was under extreme duress at the moment. To be honest, Albert wasn't innocent. He went along with Solange for many years as she committed mass murder. He was her accomplice and bore a lot of responsibility.

I get your point about not wanting to know. It's certainly better than really wanting to know - like I do - but never being able to find out. Oh well, I still really enjoyed this and I'm glad I watched it, even without the closure. It was done very, very well and held my interest from beginning to end!
