Are black Muslims actually like the ones portrayed in the film?
The parents are both African Americans yet they're traditionally Muslim - not some watered down, nation of islam version. I this the case? maybe it's due to Detroit (it's set in the detroit area) being so close to Dearborn and the African American coverts become more traditional due to this?
