It's sad because I like the films and the humanity the Warrens display in them.

reply

Not surprising as they were frauds.

reply

So you knew them personally? Well, I did. My grandparents were friends of theirs. I had a few meals with them and I can assure you the people I know and my grandparents knew were not frauds. They never took a cent from anyone they helped. They devoted their time and energy out of the goodness of their hearts. Learn to respect the dead as people are grieving.

reply

You ate a few meals with them, therefore had intimate knowledge of every deal and interaction they had with others?
Astounding.

They were frauds in the respect that they were dishonest and lied for financial gain.
You don't have to literally pick pockets to be a thief, there are many ways to defraud people.

reply

As against all the people who have never met them but claim them to be frauds without a shred of proof. Cuts two ways.

reply

There are probably the same amount of sources to identify their frauds as there are sources who worship them.

Chosing to ignore all of the available evidence doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It means you haven't done a simple search and looked for yourself.

The whole "cutting two ways" thing would normally be true. If it wasn't empirically proven that they were liars while not a shred of evidence for any of the +10,000 possessions/demons they claim they somehow had the time to confront.

reply

You misunderstood. The cuts two ways is in respect to people who knew them slightly to others who haven’t a clue in reality. The guy in the bar said they were frauds so it must be true.

reply

Not sure who "the guy in the bar" is, or why their opinion would matter.

The people who investigated their claims said they were frauds though... and the guy that ate dinner with them said they weren't.. so it must be true?

Seems to cut the one way, mostly

I was crushed to read this. My grandparents knew them and I spent them with them. I only met them a few times but my grandparents knew them well. They were very kind and generous people. Very giving and loving.
