Last week, Steven Spielberg announced he was no longer attached to the latest Indiana Jones movie. My immediate reaction upon hearing the news was mild surprise that Indy 5 was still happening. Not that it was carrying on without Spielberg’s involvement but that anyone was planning to make another Indiana Jones movie under any circumstances other than a reboot. Did we learn nothing from the one with the aliens? Apparently not because the fine folks at Disney aren’t about to let the Indiana Jones franchise die.share
