Harrison Ford is TOO OLD for action in Indy 5

What exactly are they expecting Ford to do in this movie? He'd have to be behind a desk at the university, or being the one to sit in the sidecar as someone younger does all the action. Is it likely to be Mutt? Doubtful, Shia LeBoeuf is out of it these days, and recasting would be confusing.

Face it, the son has become the father.
Henry Jones Jr has become Henry Jones Sr.

Forget the whole thing, just let the franchise sleep forever more. Disney are greedy bastards.

It's modern Disney, with Star Wars's Kathleen Kennedy as a producer.

They will apply the usual template: the main characters will be a black dude and a white woman saving the day. You'll have some non-white woman as a very smart sidekick and Harrison Ford playing some kind of secondary role. They'll include a white male playing the role as a pseudo-nazi villain, and some other white males playing mean assholes. They will include some antique relic mcguffin, a couple of set pieces with lots of GCI and that will be it.

So why should it be called Indiana Jones, if he's just a minor character?

reply

Because almost nobody is interested in modern woke movies, so they try hard to use nostalgia to sell those movies.
