Rumor: Indy dies and female counterpart assumes his name Rey style.
Not only that but they allegedly use time travel to head back to WW2 time and not only does old Indy die but YOUNG Indy as well while they are in the 30's, effectively erasing the entire franchise.
Then his hat rolls to Phoebe Waller-Bridge's character who picks it up and puts it on, becoming the 'new' Indiana Jones, assuming the name the same way Rey 'identifies' as a Skywalker now.
I'll break out laughing if this happens.
