Phoebe Waller-Bridge character the strongest in the franchise?

She was able to knock Indy out unconscious and drag him onto a plane. Correct me if I'm wrong but was Indy knocked out by anyone or anything in the series of films before this moment? Not by any Nazi or any Russian from my recollection, and he's fought some big guys. The big bald guy in Raiders gave Indy a tough fight but it seems he was weaker than this Helena character and unable to deliver a knockout blow. Not even a nuclear bomb could do the job.

It's lucky for Indy that this slim, young woman archaeologist was on his side and not working against him, because she had the strength to kill him at any second.

We are talking about a 70 years old man. A knockout blow is far more likely to kill him than knocking him out.

Helena's action was reckless to say the least.

But we are talking about Helena, who was going to kill Indy or let him lie at least from the beginning, I think she was OK with the outcome either way.

So we are lucky Indy did not die from it, and after the KO Helena did not simply kill him, because she was more than capable of those things.

Let's be honest, the only reason she was able to is because she's a woman and we're living in woke times. 60 year old Indy couldn't even be knocked out by that big Russian dude in Crystal Skull during their fist fight. But no, slim build young woman can incapacitate him with one blow. That character was the main focal point of what was wrong with this film.

That happens in movies, but in case of her it lacked build up, there should be a scene at least showing her training something similar to boxing to be more believable. Because that is not what a female bookworm can do.

I don't know if it was the laziness of the director or they cut some scenes.

Even during the boring car chase earlier in the film I was wondering where she got all these skills from. She was handling herself like a pro who was used to chases and fighting. Like some expert adventurer who'd done escapades like Indy all her life, when all we knew about her was that she was just some young Archeology graduate.

Marion was something of a damsel in distress in Raiders but she did have her moments, and they at least set her up to be someone who could kind of handle herself. Had her own place in Nepal, able to outdrink the much larger guy, gave Indy a good whack across the face. But even she wasn't half as in control as this Helena character who was the one rescuing Indy on more than one occasion.

That seems to happen a lot in both Lucasfilm and Marvel shows under Disney leadership, a lot of women simply born knowing, they hardly even need to be taught, and better than their teachers overnight.

I think this movie showed one of those situations.

Helena is simply good at everything without any efforts shown.

Well, any 90-pound or whatever woman in today's films is often able to throw men double their weight over their shoulders like it's nothing.
