Movie Thoughts
what are everyone’s thoughts on this film? I've not seen it yet, so just looking for other people's opinions 🙂
shareI know nothing about the game series so I just went into it looking for a fun action/adventure movie.
Overall I thought it was a slightly above-average, enjoyable film, even if it was a by-the-numbers affair with a script that was occasionally lazily written. The vibe is light and fun, much of the humor is amusing, the film is well-cast, and the final set piece is pretty inventive. That said, the film is also nothing ground-breaking and the story feels very conventional, with occasional marks of poor writing (such as things happening that are way too convenient and coincidental).
To compare it to another recent adventure film, I enjoyed it much more than I enjoyed Jungle Cruise.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was worth going to the cinema to watch or not. I think I will watch Batman first, then Uncharted 🙂. Thanks again
shareWow.. that's a tough call. I think I would be trying to find something better than either of those movies. Uncharted is probably worth watching when it comes to HBO or whatever streaming service it ends up on... but I don't even think I would waste my bandwidth on The Batman, the trailers alone make it look to be in the same league as the Catwoman movie that made so many worst movie lists.
