Drake growing up in an orphanage
It would be impossible unless his character is meant to be in his 50s. There haven't been orphanages in the US since the early 70s at the latest. I'm guessing the filmmakers were unaware of this fact.
shareI'm not going to bother to look up the accuracy of this, but I will say that it was in the game first. Different timeframe though.
shareIt works if it's set in a different period, sure. I think a lot of people don't know that orphanages haven't been around for a long time. My wife and I were a foster family, and this is stuff they touched on during our certification.
