White actors have always played Jesus, hypocritical?
Hypocritical camp racists are always the first to complain, deny and cry.

shareYeah, but I assume those movies did not make claims like fiction based on facts. I think all the movies about Jesus have always been regarded as pure fiction. When Morgan Freeman plays God in "Bruce Almighty", you don't get the same outrage.
When the face on the poster shows no respect for facts, people tend to complain.
But at least this show did not claim to be a documentary like the other one.
I'm against that as well.
shareThere is still no real proof that Jesus exist, definitely not as what he was. Thus he is a symbol and symbols are adopted all the time. Anyway, it's not so far fetched that Jesus looked like any other person from that area now. Maybe not Israeli, as many of their ancestors lived for generations in the diaspora in Europe, but even e.g. Lebanese are far from being black. The people coming from there I know (famous example Omar Sharif) are all very light brown, you could call it tanned white. So I can see that a Jesus from back then easily transformed from light brown to all white over time.
shareYou made the exact same post in the Queen Cleopatra page. Do you understand that blasphemy is an unforgivable sin?
shareIf anything, it's hypocritical the other way. If people are complaining white people are whitewashing, why are black people doing it with another minority?
