There is definitely going to be serious hype for this movie when the holiday season is in full swing!

Once Thanksgiving draws close the hype should start to pick up, for 3 reasons....

1. In resent years Aquman has gotten badass portrail especially in animation such as the Justice League series and the animated movie Justice League: Thornes of Atlantis and DC fans are starting to see that Aquman is much more than someone who can just talk to fish, he's got control over the water elements and can create whirlpools and tidal waves...not to mention sufficient fighting skills and immense strength that enables him to hold his own even against Wonder Woman, so a lot of DC fans are becoming intrigued by him.

2. Jason Momoa provides good eye candy for the female audience.

3. James Wan is directing it with no interference from the studio.

So yeah Aquman has quite a few things working in it's favor.

I do think it is a mistake for them to start out the movie with him dancing around and singing "Under the Sea" with a bunch of CGI shellfish.

It'll be cheezy as heck for sure but it'll make a lot of dough is my prediction.

I think it all depends on the early reviews, if there generally positive i agree , it would be hyped, i also think Mary Poppins could do very well which could impact Aquaman if ther reviews are less than favourable.

I do hope DCEU turns things around , i thought MOS, BVS and JL were pretty bad, Wonder Woman however was a fast improvement.
