He must say "Jet" 300 times in this film. I understand that's the guys nickname but common. It I was Jet i would say, "I know my name stop saying it all the freakin time!"

shareKarnivore is correct. In fact saying he's star struck is actually downplaying it. He was completely obsessed. I mean he went out, bought the exact motorcycle Jet had in high school, and slept in his letterman jacket most nights and this must've been going on for years.
I think its safe to say that saying Jet repeatedly as Bob did, is not only understandable, but on the milder side of Bob's obsession
