Throwing him into the gym naked

They might have been able to set this in the 40s or 50s and have that be plausible, but in 1996 in a big school, every one of those guys involved would have been arrested. The trope of unhinged bullies who publicly do what they want with zero consequences is such a lazy and outdated theme, but Hollywood can't let it go. Other students were starting to push back long before that, and certainly the staff would not have let that slide. It's like the bullies picking on the handicap kid in Shazam. Just lazy writing.

The aggrieved would have to make a complaint to police for anybody to be charged for anything, and what would the charge be? Bully's still exist and always will.

That is incorrect. Do you really think stripping someone naked and throwing them into public isn't a crime? Just removing the clothes involuntarily is a form of sexual assualt. The staff could also report the incident. What they did is a crime. You can absolutely report someone for assaulting another person. And I never said bullies don't exist, I said they don't get away with blatantly being a bully anymore. I have kids in school. They almost go overboard with what they consider bullying these days. Kids get detention for bullying for nothing more than laughing at another student.

Hey. I can't disagrees with that
