Why does everybody like Slasher Anniversary Flashback Specials

So much praise for these "movie's" like Wes Craven's New Nightmare, Halloween H20 and now Halloween 2018 that are less movies and more Special Attractions like the NFL Hall of Fame game the night after the NFL Hall of Fame Ceremony.

They have no respect at all for the actual sequels that actually follow the narrative and build upon and only want these lame retreads.

Friday the 13th is the King of the 80's Horror Franchises because Alice Hardy died in the beginning of Friday the 13th Part 2 and we never looked back. We weren't hung up on the original movie, actress and director and Jason Voorhees became the King of the Slashers as a result and IT WAS GLORIOUS!!!
