Read a good article about Eugene...
Spoilers for his episode two weeks ago:
The article proposes that maybe Eugene is not lying about being a PhD, and that he was indeed working on weaponizing microbes. An accident ensues and the virus escapes into the population.
He so agonizes about this and is so ashamed that he cannot admit it to anyone, really.
We know he is rather bright, knows some chemistry etc.
But then again, Eugene is a liar, so is all this a lie, still?
I think there is merit to his being a REAL scientist.
