Christopher Walken joins Dune II

Zendaya,Florence Pugh and now Christopher Walken in the movie. Even if Crusty the old fart guy has gas up to $10, I will go see this.

This is going to be interesting to see. I always thought Walken was a weirdo. Half the time he's one of those funny types who keeps a straight face all through a crazy scene, and half the time he's creepy. To see him playing a space emperor will be very different.

Another shitty casting in this shitty franchise.This goes against Herbert's book the Emperor of the Known Universe is old but he's in top physical condition because of the Spice and he is the older "brother" of the Duke... I always imagined Charlton Heston as Emperor Shaddam IV and Sean Connery as Duke Leto,Dune 1984 should have cast Heston for the role even though Jose Ferrer was very good. The role needed Liam Neeson or Mel Gibson or Viggo Mortensen or Hugo Weaving .Villeneuve's casting is always uninspired the only good casting choice is Dave Bautista
