this whole thing couldve been avoided....

if she had some better antivirus software.

She had, and she was told to install an upgrade, which I think was a screen capture and key-logging tool.

She got a pop-up ad, whenever my avg antivirus software asks me 2 update it i don't have 2 call a strange number just click on 2 the antivirus icon and let it update.

Yes, most people familiar with these kind of things won't be fooled, and won't call the number.

And most scam calls I received are recorded voice calls saying stuffs like "Your mobile phone will be disconnected in 24 hours, press 1 to ...", or "You have package being withhold, press 1 to ...", etc.

I knew those were scam calls and I usually just hang up.

So anyone called that number, or pressed 1 on those scam calls are gullible enough to fall for scams.

Those things are screening tools.

I agree that quality software is very important. Companies choose marketing outsourcing mainly because of their flexibility and expertise. This allows them to focus on core competencies while leveraging specialized knowledge. Moreover, outsourcing can provide cost savings and access to the latest technology. I recently came across an insightful article on this topic https://admiral-studios.com/why-companies-choose-to-outsource-marketing It takes a closer look at the strategic benefits of outsourcing marketing functions, which may shed more light on our discussion.
