I was down to the dregs on AppleTV+, and watched this ...

It's pretty good.

Ewen McGregor's American accent doesn't sound right, but it never has before anyway.

It's an interesting story about the father of two brothers who made their lives a living hell, and what they find out about him after he dies. I'd give it a 6 or 7 out of 10.

agreed, a lot better than I was expecting.

Boring

Too many words for you to understand?

The film was not complex but rather simplistic. Very "made during covid" small cast, simple story, few sets, typical streaming content. Feels very outdated like many other covid productions. I like both leads but this was was weak at best and all around boring.

If you think so, that is your opinion , so, okay. I don't know what criteria you use to decide is it simple, or why that is a determining factor at all. What is simple? If you think it was boring because there was not a lot of action or something like that, more car crashed, explosions, people dying, spaceships, etc ???

It was a human story. The question for me was, was this believable, and sadly yes, I know a couple women in this case whose father had double or triple lives in terms of having other families. Some people are far outside the norm when it comes to relationships and parenting.

I agree. A good splice-of-life drama about two brothers and the complex family dynamics with their deceased father. Little America, also on AppleTV, is very good too and also does similar things, albeit in individual 30-minute stories.
