Do you think this qualifies as country music?

As a country music fan, I gotta tell you, the only good songs in the movie were the very first "Silver Wings" cover during the opening scene, which I actually liked very much, and Kelly's "Country Strong". The rest was just Taylor Swift-ish country pop, or some soft folk-rock.
I wasn't really attracted by the plot, which mainly consists of everybody sleeping with each other so I watched this after a friend of mine told me it's got lots of country songs in it, only to listen to them. Now, I'm not one of those people who come here to complain that they "wasted 2 hours" or something, 'cause I enjoyed it for what it was, but what justice does it do to country music, as we heard it on our parents' record players? 'Cause it damn right isn't all about playin' a fiddle or a guitar in a honky-tonk and wearin' a cowboy hat. They threw in a couple of references of Merle Haggard and Loretta Lynn, but their direction was completely different from what I expected. What did you think of this whole rendition of "country"?

Also, a little off-topic. Isn't it funny how, when the movie begins, "Kelly" doesn't have any kind of accent, but as it plays, she gradually develops a Southern one?
