I enjoyed mark hamil

The rest…… disappointing. I was excited for this too, considering how unexpectedly wonderful midnight mass was.

None of the characters captured my interest and none of them inspired any feeling that would invest me in the stakes of the story.

That said, it was kind of cool seeing mark hamil in the shady Filth-Management type role.

Other than that, nothing.

I haven't seen this but my son has and he said Hamill stole the whole show.

Yeah I found it kind of middle the road. The series really drags in parts, but I stuck with it because there are some good elements and scenes. I thought all of the acting was good too. I think if each episode was condensed or if this was 6 episodes it would have been a lot better. The ending was OK, I felt both Roderick and especially Madeline deserved a worse death.

He was good in his final scene for sure but other than that what did he really have to do? He did a funny voice which I guess seems like good acting and then most of the time he was just hanging around being mysterious. Most of what made the character interesting was what everybody else was saying about him.

Would of been nice to of had part of an episode showing his back story when it was discussed about him being an adventurer

I thought his fake voice was silly and distracting. He should save that for when he plays the Joker in Batman.

As a side note, I really liked the scene he had with Henry Thomas.

Luke Skywalker and Elliot sharing a scene. I am surprised I haven’t seen memes of that. Especially when you consider that Star Wars and E.T. might be in the same Universe.

I just watched the series and it never occured to me until I saw your comment.
Good catch!

reply

I did too, but the rest were also great, to me.

reply

Mark Hamill was great.
Bruce Greenwood was pretty good too.
