Is this A24 horror movie too niche? They're not aware of it?

I SAW THE TV GLOW is a dreamy yet horror-tinged examination of the LGBTQ, specifically trans, experience that is something that nearly any ostracized teen or adult can relate to.

"I Saw The TV Glow" might be too queer, too dreamy, too metaphorical, or even too "pretentious" for some, but for the people who resonate with their work — it'll be the most important thing they'll see all year.

I Saw the TV Glow is a masterclass in queer storytelling whose genre ethos elevate it to new heights.

I don't know. Maybe because this stands on its own for what it is?

It would be different if they remade Poltergeist with an all female, color diverse family of lesbians (with the bad guy still being a white male, of course). Then it's likely you'd hear from the anti-woke crowd. But this is made as it is for what it is. Why should anyone care?
