Mikael never finds out what Lisbeth did?
So Mikael never found out how Lisbeth cleared up his problem for him? That's frustrating. Does anything happen in the books? I'm not afraid of spoilers.
shareIt's been a while since I read the books so I might be mistaken. But if I remember correctly in the books Mikael knows what Lisbeth did. Not the exact details, but he knows that she brought down Wennerström and I think he knows that she took the money for herself as well.
It is hinted at in the movie as well, at the end when he watches the news report about the blond "mystery woman" Irene Nesser, he recognises her and looks out of the window, where she happens to be standing.
I fell asleep at the end of the movie so what did she do when she put on the blond wig??? Did she stole Wennestorm's money or just by doing that she discredited Wennestorms on the media and thus give creedit to Mikael's initial article in Mkillennium?? And also, she obviously used that money to buy the jacket right'??

shareIn the movie, Mikael sees Lisbeth outside, and then walks out to greet her. Only as he goes out the door does the TV show Lisbeth in a blond wig. So no, in the movie, Mikael does not recognize her on TV. In the book, he does make this connection when he sees her on TV.
