Problems with Daniel Craig in danger...

Did anyone else have problems accepting Daniel Craig as Blomkvist in the scenes where he's shot at and later attacked in a certain house? I kept thinking that the most brutal & martially skilled James Bond would have handed his assailant's head to him on a stick, regardless of whether Craig was armed or not. Seeing Daniel Craig fearful & defensively incompetent was just too out of place for me to accept those scenes.

I think Daniel Craig did a good job. I liked his portrayal of the character but it is a shame that, visually, he looks like a lead actor in an action film. My experience seeing as James Bond added to this effect as well.

I also thought it was weird how Rooney Mara put a lot of work into putting together a Swedish accent but Daniel Craig just spoke like Daniel Craig.

Daniel Craig did a good job in playing Daniel Craig. He was never a believable Mikael Blomkvist.

I thought he was a phenomenal journalist - seen this film countless times and not once does the idea of Bond creep into my head. His expressions, all his little mannerisms and quips, they're all so on point, even the accidental scene where he catches the bottle rolling off the fridge adds to his cool, slightly nonchalant demeanours

He wasn't playing James Bond...
