Chaser Vs I saw the devil

I watched both Movies for the first time this month and there were both crazy rides. so I was wondering which one was the best. I keep going back and forth in my head with this one.

Anyways, I'm leaving because I'm about to go watch a movie called A bittersweet life!

The chaser was really great but it kept everything very simple. I saw the devil is on a whole other level

As an entertainment, I think Chaser doesn't come close to I saw the Devil.
But it would be a lie to say Chaser didn't influence I saw the Devil.

Hope you had a good time with Bittersweet Life.
That is one cool movie.

I truly love both, but I Saw the Devil really touches something deeper for me. I am a little fuzzy on some of the details from The Chaser, but this one really sticks with me.

Beauty is unbearable, drives us to despair.

I preferred the Chaser.

It had a convoluted plotline, but less cardboard characters and sense of environment. I don't generally mind violence in this type of films, but I saw the devil was so excessive with gore that it simply got tedious.

Choi Min-sik was pretty good in his role as a slimeball, though. The Chaser didn't really have that kind of outstanding roles.

I thought that The Chaser had a better story to tell, where as I Saw The Devil had some really good themes and ideas, but the execution wasn't as good for me.

Chaser.

Devil is too torture porn for me. But its brilliantly directed
