shareThat was the number announced, but the actual figures were likely to be much higher. I think the blogger was right at least about that -- that the authorities weren't likely to be telling the whole truth, if only not to panic people.
But also, at the same time, they were saying that it would take a full year before they could produce enough vaccine to hakt the epidemic. In that year, the numbers would increase frighteningly, well beyond the 26 million.

only 26 million world wide in 2010~... well this movie blown everything out of proportion. Nothing like black plague which wiped half of europes population at the time. Guess they didnt have the means to quarantine zones or common sense of how diseases spread.
