She is an amazingly bizarre looking actress - these strange roles suit her perfectly. She appears so suitable for them....
I agree. When it comes to acting, physical appearance is the prime criteria. That is why Jessica Biel is the greatest actress of all time.

shareThe connection between my post and the original poster's is that they completed missed the point that Close has never claimed to be a beauty queen. Do people only have worth if they look like a model? Plus the OP needs to realize that the wonder of Close is her amazing acting ability, I would argue one of the best actors of her generation (if not all time).
BTW, I think Close is attractive myself! I like people who have an original look. :-)
