Is there much of Dublin in this?

It's got mixed reviews and it's not the kind of thing I'd normally go to the cinema to see, but I love anything to do with early 20th Century Dublin, so is it worth seeing? One review said most of the action takes place in the hotel or her room.

Not really. The geography of Dublin city has changed a lot in the past 100 years so most of the scenes had to be made up as sets, most of them set in the hotel but there is a scene on Dollymount strand that was filmed on the real location.

Thanks very much. I'm committed to going tonight anyway so hopefully there'll be a few car crashes and explosions to make up for the lack of location work!

I read this morning it was "late 19th Century" rather than early 20th but anyway, same difference.
