Theory about the ending: I believe that the girl that was walking at the end with Owen Wilson, was from the future and 2011 was her golden age and gil (Owen Wilson) was her favourite writer.
And I believe that she had read that Gil liked walking in the rain and liked Paris more in rain. So in the end told him the same thing... That she liked walking in rain
