Just finished the movie. So my two cents?

I got to watch an early screening of "A wrinkle in time", and i went in totally blind. I haven't read the book, and knew very little about it. So after seeing it... i loved it. Okay, it's no masterpiece, but theirs a lot of good in it. First off, the acting is very strong, especially from the girl who played Meg, and the 6 year old who played Charles Wallace. The three guardians are also very good. The actors very clearly put effort into what they're doing, and have strong chemistry throughout. The screenplay is passable, and it's very evident the director, and actors really make the script soar. The director of this film knows what she's doing, and has a good idea on what to do. The film is also shot gorgeously, combining practical effects with CGI, and gorgeous cinematography. Keep in mind too, this a film meant mainly for children, and tweens, and for the most part, not only has a good message, but delivers the message in a very human way. If you have children, or need something to show children, I'd highly recommend this one. This was just my two cents, so take this with a pinch of salt, and i hope you're having a wonderful day.
