The trailer needed Sydney Sweeney in a bikini recreating the Heather Thomas opening credits shot from the tv show.

Good comparison to the OG Jody , but they were going for an older Jody/Colts boss in this to get with the times (also SS only recently 'broke out' like this past year or so)

A more faithful adaptation with SS as Jody mightve added more box office tho , but being PC is more important to movie studios now I guess
