Like many films IMO deserving sequels,Skyline's is 1 I'm happy for!!

Being that I am a huge Sci-Fi film fan,including the many "sub-genres" it has such as futuristic,space exploration/space colonization,alien colonization,post-apocolyptic,dystopian,and the many more forms and combinations of them,along w/the various other genres used in creating great films,IMHO.Although,there's SO many that're left off with such great endings as well,that are worthy of sequels being made.Yet often they aren't unfortunately...
That being said.I for one,am really excited to see the Sci-Fi film Skyline,have the up and coming sequel Beyond Skyline.Being done as a sequel to Skyline,having of course the potential of the different directions that it can go!Being it's a Sci-Fi sub-genre of alien colonization,where we the film Beyond Skyline is definitely one I look forward to seeing where it takes us next!!I wonder if the fact that "Eric Balfour",makes a return in this one,since in the ending,he still had his "personality&humanity",even though he was in an alien body.It wouldn't be surprising if he helped,nor a bad idea possibly.In the summary,it says the father who goes in to try saving his son from the aliens,so having the help of the strangely human-like alien,"Eric",help this father succeed or have some help,isn't a stretch...
