District 9 similar?
It does seem similar, guy turns into a alien after being infected. Except being on a mothership with his girlfriend, and protects her. I bet if there was a sequel, and maybe hope not for those people who hated it, Guessing, there will be other humans who have special brains, and they'll fight against their oppressors. Viva Human Revolution.
The ending seem like the bad guys won anyway.
