Norway is really beautiful

Through the entire film, the only thing that kept popping into my head is the spectacular scenery. I'm glad it was featured so prominently. Especially some of the establishing shots of mountain peaks running right into the sea, awesome.

I was there two years ago, actually around Sogn and Fjordane, where this film was set. And before that I visited Tromsø in northern Norway. Norway's an incredibly beautiful country. I'd recommend it to anyone.

It 's one of the positives that separate Troll Hunter from other mockumentaries. The camera work isn't quite as shaky and at least in the first half of the film you do see a lot of spectacular scenery.🐭

Agreed. I appreciate films where the landscape play an important role. I have misgivings the landscape will be the last thing on the filmmaker's mind in the remake.

Well if they film in British Columbia which has kinda similar landscapes

reply

yes, that was the good thing about this movie for sure.

the rest of the time I was sitting there thinking "seriously why am I watching a movie about trolls"

reply

Yeah, we drove from Finland to Tromso a few years ago and passed through all those fjords. It was also March so it was covered in snow apart from the sea. It was amazing, I was nostalgic watching this movie, Norway is stunning!

I have been wanting to visit Norway to see all the beautiful country first hand. But until they get the troll problem under control I am going to wait. I just cannot justify the potential danger of being eaten by a troll. Add in the rabies outbreak and waiting is a no brainier.
