Is that the actual title of the movie? **** me...

Is it based on a book? I can see a lame-ass, hacky, hokey book with a horrible title like that, but a movie with at least a couple of reputable actors in it? Come on.

I love dogs as much as the next guy and I even tear up at a sad dog movie but none of them had such a stupid title. Sounds like a studio suit wanted the most dumbed-down title to go with what looks like a pretty mawkish movie based on what I saw in the preview.

Umm, yes, it's based on the book. Saw an advanced screening last night. If you loved the book, you will love the movie.

A good book in fact. A dog is re-incarnated several times and eventually discovers his purpose in life.

And the mice he keeps eating in the grass keep reincarnating into mice, only to be eaten by him again and again in a gruesome cycle of misery which demonstrates how absurd the entire concept of reincarnation is in the first place.
