Bad Guys' Motivation (Spoilers)

I don't really understand why it was so important to take care of them in one day.

I get why they didn't burn down the house right away. They wanted to keep it as a trap if they could.

But why not siege the place. They're cannibals. They've got food (dead bodies, thanks to the good guys) and they've got a water source (the river). It's not like they really have anywhere to be, so why not just set up camp around the house and wait until the people inside run out of food and water and simply get weaker. If they leave, take care of them. If they stay for a while, so be it.

I know it's just a movie. The bad guys really need better leadership.

Sleep peaceably at night because rough men stand ready to do violence on your behalf.

Yeah, I agree with your points about just waiting it out for them.

Yeah, they couldn't have run that siege any more ineptly.

Yeah everyone charging the house was stupid. No strategy just running right at it. This movie was dumb. Bad acting and not very well thought out.
