A lot of people will be depending on this movie making a decent return on its budget, whether this is a gimmick for public relations or the real deal this could be a major game changer with regards to punishing copyright thieves.

That said, Disney did put unskippable trailers on the special edition DVD of the first movie that I bought and so they're hardly angels themselves.

Ten days until release, let's see if it makes it out legitimately or if it drops on the underground scene first.

You wouldn't shoot a policeman. And then steal his helmet. You wouldn't go to the toilet in his helmet. And then send it to the policeman's grieving widow. And then steal it again!

Great show. And by that I mean it was okay but it had great moments like that.

I say a cult following. The first film was a hit. But the second had lower ratings and so forth. So I say it will need time finding an audience.

They should use the ship's wheel connected to my crotch to guide it towards finding its audience.

It's driving me nuts!

Huh?

Took me a few read-throughs to get it.

I'm going to see it in theaters either way. I watch most things online but I also really like the movie theater experience. Plus I really want to see it in 3D!

I don't think the movie being leaked one week before release will have much effect on box office results. Xmen Origins:Wolverine was leaked 2 months before release, and it still made over $400 million.

reply

Was this just a publicity stunt then?

I've seen nothing of this movie in the local grog hangouts and the press gangs haven't been saying much about it.
