Jimmy/Hit List

Am I the only person who hates Jimmy and everything about Hit List? I watched the whole two seasons (always expecting the show got better) and it was fun and I actually think it improved on season 2. however that Jimmy character come on! he's rude, aggressive, unpleasant a huge a-hole and everybody just takes up his crap like he is the star that Broadway was expecting. This turns the plot so unrealistic (come on any other director would fire his ass in a second) he is not famous, he is not even good looking, and getting into Hit list he's not a good songwriter either. That whole Rent rip/off subplot just sucks, McPhee's lipsink in this is just terrible, the staging looks like American Idol or The Voice, the songs sound like a high school musical/Ariana Grande mashup, and the funny thing is that everybody loves the show! I liked Smash but I REALLY needed to share my disgust about Jimmy and his awful sometimes even embarrassing show.

I hated his character, and Karen even more for being in love with him! He was an ass to everyone from the start, why she would fall for him is baffling to me.

Totally could not stand Jimmy. Disliked him so much he made me dislike Karen also and in the end dislike the show.

I just finished watching the show and Jimmy is a singularly unlikable character. His whole presence comes down to:
"I want to make it big, but I don't know how, everyone leave me alone. You all owe me and you should do exactly as I say although I am nobody, have a drug addiction and walked away while someone was dying of an overdose. I also act gay, but I'd be the love interest of the female lead."
