Will this be a sitcom for 5 years old kids like Ragnarok?

Or good?

reply

Probably good

reply

It will probably be really good, successful and well received, just like Ragnarok.

reply

So, a sitcom then. Like Lizzie McGuire.

reply

Complaining that a movie that tried to be a comedy actually turned out as a comedy is pretty silly.

reply

Not when the IP it's based off of isn't a comedy. It didn't exactly work for Batman and Robin did it?

reply

The Thor comics are actually very heavy with humor. And it did work. Comparing it to another movie that wasn't good is completely irrelevant.

reply

It worked for the Adam West tv series.

reply

Are you by any chance a DC fanboy?

I bet you are, you can't be a DC fanboy if you have enough of a sense of humor to understand why other people like stuff that's funny.

reply

It will have the same crappy comedy all Marvel movies have

reply

It will have the same crowd pleasing, entertaining, and light-hearted humor all Marvel movies have.

There... fixed it for you.

reply

That's your opinion if you like it, good for you.

reply

Yup... an $850-million opinion apparently shared by millions world wide.

Of course, if you prefer dour, dark, and lifeless, you are welcome to your opinion, too! Just don't knock others who have differing opinions.

reply

When did I knock anyone for having a differing opinion?

reply

When you use words like "crappy", you are passing a value judgement on those who enjoy it... by association, you are saying those whose opinion is they like the movie have "crappy" opinions. If you had just said that it will have the same type of comedy that is found in most Marvel movies, and that isn't your thing, that's just expressing your opinion. But when you start using inflammatory terms, you are thrusting that label on anyone who does enjoy those types of movies.

reply

So, when I use words with a negative connotation in relation to something you like, I'm passing judgement on those who enjoy it? Wow, you just outed yourself as someone who is very insecure. I gave my opinion, that the comedy was crappy, you chose to interpret that as an attack on people who like the humour. That's so sad. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for you.

reply

"Crappy comedy" was what was inserted into Justice League. Great comedy was to be found in Ragnarok.

reply

I haven't even seen Justice League, nor do I care to. May, I ask what relevance does that have?

reply

Umm...I don't know...maybe a movie within the same genre, released close to Ragnarok from a rival studio?

reply

Yeah and? How does that pertain to my original post?

reply

Because it's not "crappy comedy". I'm guiding you to where that truly is to be found.

reply

It is not "crappy comedy" to you. It is to me. I don't care about Justice League.

reply

I grew up liking DC comics alot more than Marvel but the Marvel movies are being handled way better than the DC movies. I'm sure this movie will be pretty good at least.
