Is it slow-paced like Rectify or slightly faster like Breaking Bad?

Both shows involve crime mysteries to some extent, but I am interested in watching this show with its elements of Mid-Western fare, but is the pacing very slow like Rectify or much more intense & goose bumps-stirring like Breaking Bad?

I also love those two shows and I think you would like this. The pacing is Somewhere in the middle and probably closer to breaking bad pace but no show ever has been edge of your seat like breaking bad in my opinion. I love longmire and I'm usually not a huge fan of cop shows.
