Surprised at the Castro joke

One of the characters makes a comment if he ever found a place that had never heard of Castro he'd stay. I can see the "dissident" jokes going over well but surprised to see political digs against the government.

A fun movie and well worth a look. A slick professional film with decent make up effects and CG effects. Curious what the budget was and where the effects were done? Was it a 100% Cuban or did an out side group do some of it? Too bad it didn't get a better release. The one theater is showed in got big numbers. They should have at least ran it in a couple of hundred theaters.

So was I, seeing the end credits appear to suggest the government gave them a fair bit of assistance in getting the project off the ground. May be the government is starting to develop a sense of humour.🐭

It´s a Spanish-Cuban production. I don´t think that was the only Castro joke I heard. When he´s receiving calls, he gets one and says "No, you kill that one yourselves" I can only think of one cuban zombie no one would want to have to kill, or wouldn´t bother putting out of its misery.
