Question about the Ending (Spoiler)

During the ending animation sequence did Juan's friend, daughter, and friend's son really come back to help him or was that some type of symbolism like they were there with him in spirit? Either way it was a cool way to end to movie...

It did give the impression they turned around to help him..perhaps inspired by Juan's almost suicidal sense of honor to his native land & the death of all zombies!

I think they came back - after all they went through together it wouldn't make sense to just leave Juan alone.
