I didn't think the title Summer at Dog Dave's really flew, but it's a lot better than The Summer of Monte Wildhorn. I wouldn't be surprised if there's another title change to come.

Yeah, it really does. It doesn't seem like it should be a hard movie to name.

Also, for a while, they were floating the name "The Third Act".

That was the best of the lot, although rather nondescript. This is looking to be a limited release.

The current title, The Magic of Belle Isle, is good. It must have tested well with a random sample of people. Much better than the others.

My DVD copy is labelled Once More - maybe that's a UK thing? There doesn't seem to be an original book this was based on which is a little surprising - I just assumed one of the titles would have been from that.

I think The Magic of Belle Isle is a good one.
I'm glad they are not calling it "Finding such-n-such" or "Being so-n-so"
At any rate, I'm interested in seeing this flick.

In my home town Belle Isle is a notoriously rough, poor, dangerous district. Made me chuckle when I saw this film advertised: I wonder if Mr Freeman will be sat outside the post office, drinking special brew while waiting for his giro.
