i just finished binging the series. i found it worthwhile. imo, main focus was on procedure and relationships, the crimes being more of a back drop (unlike shetland or vera.) i would recommend it. i believe it was created by the same woman who did 'happy valley.'
shareWe really enjoyed it as fans of both lead actresses in other works. I thought that by the very final series it wrapped up a little fast, but I was enjoying the familiar characters so it didn't bother me. It's fun to see how many actors/actresses come back to work on other Sally Wainwright shows, creating an interesting, recurring patchwork.
Nicola Walker has a recurring guest role in, um, the third season? She was amazing.
