The Hypocrisy of the Other Friends *Spoilers*

What I hated about the film was that it tried to make Vincent out to be the bad guy even till the end. Vincent in my opinion was the only one who used the Loft for what it was for. I get Phill being angry Vince boned his sister because he's a coked out nut. But the other guys come on now. He did it with Marty's wife and whats the big deal he was cheating too. Then Anne (Rachel Taylor) who was a self proclaimed prostitute so shes up for grabs. And Vince hooked Chris up with her, that's a dudes dude. They should have gotten screwed worse than Vince.

I agree. I was pissed that things went so crappy for him, while Marsden got a (comparitively) happy ending.

The whole movie had major plot holes. They all shared a loft to avoid hotel rooms and shady credit card fees yet they all came up with the mortgage for this place on the first of the month no questions asked? Unlikely. then we had two guys thrown the mix both pushed by vince to participate. The nerdy friend was reluctant amd ended up only jerking off to the recordings he made. And the doctor friend was seduced by the hooker because vince paid for it. Lol he might have been a mans man but he was also a dueschebag. the only guy i liked was the doctor. Marty was a drunk idiot with a big mouth. The nerdy friend had no charisma and the coke head brother was sadist piece of garbage. Just sayin

They all had flaws. I didn't like the doctor (Chris was his name) the most because he's a hypocrite. He doesn' cheat on his wife, yet when put to the test he cheats with the first girl who flirts with him. Then try to justify sleeping with her by convincing himself that he was in love with her. Then when he found out that she was a hooker, he tried to make believe that he was better and special because he didn't pay for it. Then he tried to play the good guy role by asking the other guy to release her. Like her date was her pimp.. she was a hooker for pete sake. He want her to quit, yet he wasn't psyimg her.

All of them had flaws, but he was the biggest hypocrite.

Yeah and it was meant to be secret between them. However, they could bang as many birds as they liked there?

Vince didn't get THAT screwed except for losing his wife and kids which sucks but THEY ALL deserved worse. The ending made no sense to me whatsoever. Somehow Phillip was the only one on trial.

Um, no.

Luke filmed people having sex without their knowledge or consent, failed to report his friend as a rapist, and attempted cold-blooded murder by drugging Sarah. I'm pretty sure those are some pretty significant felonies. He's not on trial because he's dead.

Phillip is a violent rapist who slit Sarah's wrist and (however unintentionally) ended her life. He is rightfully on trial, probably on charges of rape, manslaughter/murder and obstruction of justice.

Vincent was a big-time cheater and skeezy manipulator who failed to report Phillip for rape.

Marty and Chris were cheaters who obstructed justice and failed to report Phillip for rape.

Possibly the last three escaped jail time in exchange for full cooperation?

I suppose a smaller-caliber gun would have to fire baby teeth.

All the characters in this movie are terrible. That is what makes this movie so damn terrible.

Not to mention the irony of him being this hotshot architect who actually worked his ass off to get where his was and then his wife "decided to let him keep the loft."

The US really has a problem with divorce lawyers and their views on marriage.

There's a thing called the bro code :S

I don't get why only Philip would have to await trial though. That's the bit that didn't make sense. They all would have been legally screwed if they confessed.
