Season 2 more gurl power ?

After season 1, they changed the showrunner, and sold it as a great thing. :) This season I have been thinking about the elevation of Zora and Calista, especially since they fit into the young female demographic. In season 1, they were just wannabes, hanging out looking to be a part of the action. In season 2, they are powered beings that can do things and charting more of their future. The head of the FBI task force was female and capable. Johnny Royale, a powerful male, is gone. And they have been killed off an older male Triphammer, who was effective in his own way. I did notice some females on the production staff, and dont know if their roles were the same in seasons 1 and 2. Krispen's female friend was also a does what she wants character. Is Pilgrim acting differently, besides the slight wardrobe adjustments ?

I didnt care for how Agent Carter and Supergirl handled gurl power, but I am okay with how Powers is doing it.

I am The Doctor and this is my spoon !
