Wikipedia: "The Walking Dead: Dead City premiered on June 18, 2023, and will consist of six episodes."

Six total? Or six for season 1?

Six for season 1. I think it's only a miniseries for now.

If it becomes popular, it will most definitely get a second season

That to me seems really tricky.. I mean.. Do they sum up everything and have an ending, or leave it completely open with a cliffhanger

Episode 6 ended in a cliffhanger, with something involving Maggie’s son and the female villain. I think they will do another season
