Okek dokes, so here we go.....

Decided not to go with Season 3 of Suits, but first season of HoC. Just finished Episode 3,and so far.... really enjoying it.

Kevin Spacey, is, as always, superb. With David Fincher at the helm, you know you are in good hands. Robin Wright, playing Spaceys wife, also worth a mention, as does Kate Mara, the ambitious reporter. Although something tells me she is getting way over her head... :-)

I had already read that the series was written specifically for a streaming site i.e. you can binge watch them as opposed to waiting a week for the next episode. And whew, they were right, because you really need to keep your eye on the ball - you would struggle to keep up if you had to remember previous weeks instalment. Well, I would anyway! You (I) really need to concentrate, I've found myself having to rewind a few conversations because I had lost the gist of it. Maybe I'm just a dumb-ass though.

So would I recommend that you get stuck into it? Absolutely - even if it's just to watch KS breaking the fourth wall, talking directly to camera - a technique, if done well (and it is here), I really like.

See you on the other side....another ten episodes to go, should be finished by tomorrow! Lol!
