The Last Two Episodes of Season 5...

...were absolutely horrible. I can't believe the writing of some of these characters. ***Don't read ahead for spoilers***

So Kathy Durant decided to meet with Underwood knowing full well what he is capable of right before she is supposed to testify, and promptly gets pushed down 4 stairs, and is now somehow in a coma or something? No questions from anyone about the mysterious circumstances that this happened? Tom, the creepy writer, finished a book bashing the Underwoods, and agrees to meet Claire in a random house, when he also knows completely what they are both capable of, mainly because SHE TOLD HIM! LeAnn, yeah, just keep going back to your apartment alone after giving up your classified information...and don't let anyone else know about anything either. These characters all went brain dead the last two episodes of season 5! It was frustrating. For the most part it was entertaining watching these pieces of garbage The Underwoods weasel their way out of EVERYTHING somehow over the seasons, because at least it was clever, but the last few episodes of season 5 changed the whole show for me. Guess I won't have to worry about what happens next season, but man, what a crappy way to go out in season 5.
