Frank hates judgmental people, yet he's one himself.

He murders people based upon who they are. He thinks they are hateful, and really they are just sketches of what he thinks they are. Most obviously is the Tea Party, which has never been involved in a violent act that can be proven. Can you prove one? Why wasn't the Occupy movement talked about, because it is left wing? They have been involved in lots of violence, but I guess it wouldn't fit with Bobcat's propaganda machine. He hates people that are mean, and says that the Glenn Beckish character is mean, yet he leaves Rachel Maddow and Bill Maher alone. He shoots the rich white girl in the head, but leaves the people on welfare alone who are always screaming for more even though they get everything handed to them for free. Public housing with escalades parked outside is the ultimate irony that this movie missed.

In short, I wanted to like this movie, but didn't. The girl character proved everything that is wrong with Bobcat's leftist thinking, hating people just because they give high fives? Really? Oh, that's so cool of you. I found it ironic that Roxy's family was probably just as well off as the rich white girl's family was, yet she was a FEMINAZI as was correctly stated by the Glenn Beckish caricature that they gunned down because they disagreed with his politics.

Because this movie was released BEFORE the Occupy movement started. My God, can you retards do math? For every line in the movie represents a failed organism (or should I say orgasm), you are the "40% of American adults can't read above a 4th grade level" line in the movie, uttered by the car radio.

I wouldn't have minded him taking out an annoying anarchist or someting, but politics were not the point anyway. Most of his victims were just people doing things that anyone might take exception to regardless of their political views. His original issue is with reality TV, which is hardly a conservative genre.

Aside from the radio host, there were only two targets that could be considered political--the anti-gay protestors and the group picking on sick people who recieve government benifits. This is actually aggressive, threatening behavior in public, not just expressing ideas. And yes, there are mean liberal comentators, but they usually express their hostility with some wit and eloquence. The Oscar Wilde-esque Mahr is a world away from the ranting Beck.

And another major point is that Frank was not a hero, but a very troubled man who took a completely insane approach to expressing his complaints (however legitimate they are).

Your not fooling the TC. your just on of these fancy liberals with your maths.

:D

Frank would have shot you too...

reply

Sorry about your penis size bro

reply

It's the liberal/moonbat way. What did you expect?

"They sucked his brains out!"

reply

He never said he hates judgmental people...only hateful and mean people...

reply

Frank WAS planning on killing himself, so at some level he accepted that he had become exactly the same thing that he hates.

reply

Exactly like liberals. Liberals claim to be loving and compassionate yet they label anyone who believes differently than they do.

You are against gay marriage? You're a homophobe.
You want prayer in public schools? You're a religious whacko who is forcing me to eat your religion.
You don't want to use your hard earned money to fund social programs? You're an inconsiderate bastard.

The best one of course is: You didn't vote for Obama? You're a racist douchebag who hates all minorities.

I live in LA so I come in contact with people who say these exact things. It's really something.

reply

>You want prayer in public schools? You're a religious whacko who is forcing me to eat your religion.

Why would you even WANT prayer in public schools if you WEREN'T a religious wacko who was forcing others to eat your religion?

Don't you religious wackos ever even TRY to think?

reply

well, they would not be religious if they did.

reply

Explain to me how you can be against other people's rights? It's not like they take anything away from you.

reply

To the OP, If anything I thought this movie was making fun of liberals. How they think they are doing the world a favor but are instead taking our rights way (or killing them like in the movie. I agreed with everything Frank was saying but it doesn't give me an excuse to go out and destroy the lives of people that don't. And the anti television, mediocrity thing is way more conservative than liberal. I consider myself slightly conservative (not Republican)and agree that people watch way to much TV and need to get out of the house and talk to there neighbors more. But it is also there right to watch junk if they want whether i like it or not.

But you are all that. Liberals are compassionate towards minorities, the weak and ill, NOT racists, sexists, homophobes and religious fundies.

reply

"Liberals claim to be loving and compassionate "

lol. where and when do they do that?

"You are against gay marriage? You're a homophobe. "
if it is your opinion, well then you are just an asshole. if you try to deny them equal rights, then yes you are a homophobe.

"You want prayer in public schools? You're a religious whacko who is forcing me to eat your religion."
yup. ever read the constitution? leave your fucking religion out of the class room, just as i leave mine out of it. what you are demanding is sharia law.

"You don't want to use your hard earned money to fund social programs? You're an inconsiderate bastard."
well, in this case if you reduce a complex situation to a one sentence, then you are ... at least a simpleton.

"The best one of course is: You didn't vote for Obama? You're a racist douchebag who hates all minorities. "
said no one ever. nevertheless, when nutters start off with "ooooh, we SUFFERED 8 years ....", it's clear where the journey goes. McCain was a great candidate, it was the running mate that ruined his chances. as for romney, that's way harder to argue.

It's not a political slant. The film was released in September 2011. The Occupy movement started that same month while the Tea Party movement had reached its peak in 2010.

He shoots the rich white girl because she was a terrible person, and because he thinks reality shows centered on her do horrible things to society. Case in point: his daughter who throws a tantrum because she gets a Blackberry instead of an iPhone. Even though you cling to grossly misinformed views on welfare, you will see that TV studios do not make reality shows of welfare recipients.

Rachel Maddow and Bill Maher are snarky, but their shows involve a lot less screaming. They also attract a more educated audience and don't appeal to the least common denominator.

Frank states that he did not want to kill the Glenn Beck caricature because of his politics. Frank wanted to do it because the guy was mean.

reply

Frank is just sick of all the disgusting, lowlife trash Americans have become. Don't bring politics into this. I agree with Frank's point of view. I would never kill anyone, but that's why it's a movie. It's about fantasy and "what ifs". It's also very similar to Falling Down starring Michael Douglas. I recommend that if you enjoyed this.

"Hate is baggage. Life's too short to be pissed off all the time."

The stupidity and ignorance of the right-wing never ceases to boggle my mind. And, yet again, we see that evidenced here from the OP and the other right-wing idiots in this thread. They say over half of everyone you meet are of below average intelligence and it's true. They're every right-winger you've ever met. In fact it's been proven by several university studies now.

He murders people based upon who they are.

No he delivers retribution - a biblical concept you right-wing kooks champion all the time - to people based upon their ACTIONS. The Westboro types protesting with their message of hate, the stock broker type taking up two parking spots and being a selfish prick about it, etc. He doesn't just wander around randomly shooting anyone.

He thinks they are hateful, and really they are just sketches of what he thinks they are.

Wrong again. He knows they're hateful and selfish. Or maybe you don't grasp the English language well enough to know that signs like "God Hates Fags!" is, in fact, hatemongering.

Most obviously is the Tea Party, which has never been involved in a violent act that can be proven. Can you prove one?

Are you high? Violence breaks out at Tea Party rallies like clockwork. There's a service called Google. Try it. Search for the words tea+party+violence and watch all the returns you get.

Why wasn't the Occupy movement talked about, because it is left wing? They have been involved in lots of violence, but I guess it wouldn't fit with Bobcat's propaganda machine.

And yet again you miss the point - surprise, surprise. The Tea Party are bunch of self-serving hypocrites who are only united by their common greed, stupidity, racism, and bigotry. I still love that famous shot at that Tea Party rally of that Teabagger with the sign that reads "Keep yor damn socialist hands off my medicare!" I'd laugh for the stupidity of it if it wasn't so pathetic and indicative of the entire party. The Occupy movement on the other hand is a movement that represents the best interests of EVERYONE in the country and around the globe. Of reigning in the madness that's the unchecked aggression of the elites and the destruction of the middle-class. It's about everyone getting a fair shake. Oh right, but that sounds too much like socialism so it must be evil. Well, when you and your family and friends are all out on the streets looking to work for food you just remember that, sport.

He hates people that are mean, and says that the Glenn Beckish character is mean, yet he leaves Rachel Maddow and Bill Maher alone.

You're seriously comparing people like Maddow and Maher to someone like Beck. Are you on Oxy? Like your pal, Rush? You must be high.

He shoots the rich white girl in the head, but leaves he people on welfare alone who are always screaming for more even though they get everything handed to them for free. Public housing with escalades parked outside is the ultimate irony that this movie missed.

Really. People on welfare are screaming for more? And where does this occur. Ever been to public housing? A) There isn't much of it left anymore B) It's barely a step up from being homeless. If it's such a wonderful free for all, why not try it for a while and then come tell us how amazing it is! Yeah, the average welfare recipient in the US gets about $300 per month and $200 in food stamps. Oh yeah, livin' the dream there. I can see how they can all afford those Escalades.

The stupidity of your post, your lack of critical thinking skills...it really just floors me that anyone can be so utterly ignorant and moronic. And what's worse is there are millions of you out there. And you're completely out of touch with reality. Completely! Is there a name for this little fantasy world of yours? This reality distortion field you live in? Seek psychiatric help. Take meds. Seriously.
